Responsibilities

 

FM Approvals’ Business Process Manager is responsible for leading and supervising employees to ensure productivity and efficiency of operations related to technical applications, procedures and providing direction on how best to handle different critical tasks around FM Approvals business applications and services. Responsible for implementing and enhancing processes that will help provide timely service to customers, engineers, project leaders, or other management. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all business matters and an expert communicator with a solid ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across various departments. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner that incorporates the company’s vision and culture.

 

Develop extensive knowledge of FM Approvals, its business processes, policies and procedures, governance practices, and regulatory obligations supporting daily activities.

Manages the daily activities and workflow of the team to meet customer service expectations.

Ensures the timely completion and accuracy of business application support.

Provides leadership and technical expertise on the business processes related to project and contract management, customer billings, and system data entry and maintenance requirements. Implements process changes or enhancements to streamline procedures, improve customer service, increase staff efficiency, and reduce operating costs within the unit. Interacts routinely with customers, engineers, and managers.

 

Responsible for the performance management process for direct reports, recommends salary administration, and authorizes weekly time and expense reports. Provides or arranges for personnel training as needed.

Recruit, interview, hire, develop, mentor and maintain technically competent and motivated staff.

Actively participates in developing the team objectives and setting key result areas, action plans, and expectations.

Ensure the team has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g., people, materials, equipment, etc.).

Performs other special assignments or duties as may be required by the manager.

 

Qualifications

4 Year / bachelor’s degree Business Administration or Computer Science

10 years minimum relatable expereince,  7 years of supervisory experience developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and developing efficient processes to streamline operations

Proficient with standard software applications

Strong Management, coaching, training and team-building skills.

Strong communication

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to initiate process changes and improvements.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask.

Ability to utilize query and other reporting tools.

Knowledge of billing and accounting practices.

 

The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
