Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Cyber Security Co-Op with a strong focus on configuring and managing the OpenCTI platform to aggregate IT/OT Threat Intelligence. In this role, you will align threat intelligence data with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and integrate Open-Source Threat Intelligence feeds. You will also create monthly reports highlighting attack trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a student with a solid foundation in networking and cyber security to gain hands-on experience and further develop their skills.

 

Responsibilities: As a Cyber Security Intern, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring the OpenCTI platform to aggregate IT/OT Threat Intelligence.
  • Aligning threat intelligence data with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Integrating Open-Source Threat Intelligence feeds into OpenCTI.
  • Creating and presenting monthly reports highlighting attack trends.
  • Documenting configurations and processes for future reference.
  • Collaborating with the team to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and working towards a degree in cyber security, computer science, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience and knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Familiarity with OpenCTI and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with open-source intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We understand that this is a co-op position, but we expect candidates to have a strong foundation in networking and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, as well as the ability to write comprehensive reports.
