Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst Intern you will be supporting our corporate underwriting leadership teams with the development of the data pipelines, transforming data, and creating dashboards.

-Create reports, analyses, and automation to support business needs

-Convert data into meaningful insights through interactive and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports

-Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define internal and external metrics & system requirements.

-Develop custom dashboards, documentation, and reports.

-Review, improve and optimize existing dashboard views.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and in a college or university and working towards a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a technical field
  • Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate level status
  • Data Literacy; understanding database fundamentals, including SQL
  • Experience with creating dashboards 
  • General knowledge of computer fundamentals
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following is a plus: SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, DAX, Power Query, Excel, Python, R
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job, collaborate with teams and share ideas to solve problems
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills, and strong organizational & planning skills
