The Marketing Strategic Partner works closely with marketing and business stakeholders to develop and implement strategies and plans for global marketing initiatives. This role supports FM’s goals around Revenue, Relationship, and Reputation by ensuring effective analysis, planning, development, implementation, measurement, and reporting for assigned initiatives.

 

This position will hold primary responsibility for advancing FM’s brand awareness and product marketing programs. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a results-driven mindset to help elevate the company’s visibility, engage key audiences, and support business growth.

 

Schedule

This is a full-time office-based exempt position with the flexibility to work remotely twice per week based on business needs. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Johnston, RI. Domestic and/or international travel may be required 20–30% throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies, plans, and regional rollouts of global marketing programs, with a focus on brand awareness and product marketing.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Client Service, Sales, Operations, and Regional Strategists to ensure collaboration, localization, and alignment with corporate and functional objectives.
  • Own program success end-to-end across all phases: Discovery, Strategy, Value Proposition & Messaging, Creative & Content Production, Activation, Optimization, and Reporting for the assigned Programs.
  • Create and manage omnichannel integrated marketing roadmaps (enablement, PR, advertising, multimedia, digital/web, direct mail, events, exhibits, etc.), aligned to audience journeys and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies where applicable.
  • Develop focused activation strategies to nurture key target accounts and drive deeper engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure alignment with brand positioning, compliance standards, and audience needs across all marketing efforts and materials.
  • Coordinate campaign production, ensuring materials meet legal and regulatory requirements and reflect strategic priorities and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate to define, monitor, and analyze metrics to measure program effectiveness, report on outcomes, and optimize for impact.
  • Drive alignment of integrated marketing activities, ensuring message consistency and a best-in-class client experience.
  • Contribute to agency and vendor management for assigned programs, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Support sponsorship marketing by consulting on messaging, creative, and positioning, and identifying opportunities to integrate brand and ambassadors beyond contractual sponsorship activations.
  • Integrate regional and company-wide initiatives including sports sponsorships, into cohesive marketing plans, leveraging collective expertise and resources.
  • Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of all projects with clear objectives and measurable ROI.
  • Ensure assignment programs support new business development, client retention, and/or enhanced risk quality/client experiences through consultative marketing and communications.
  • Handle additional corporate and business unit projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with broader company initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (required). 

 

Work Experience

  • 8–10 years of progressively responsible roles in corporate and/or agency environments.
  • Experience with integrated marketing, digital marketing and paid media is required.
  • Exposure to evolving digital marketing trends and emerging media platforms is a strong plus. 

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics that support global and regional business objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize and align marketing plans with corporate and operational goals.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Having or willing to have deep understanding of FM’s business, priorities and the commercial property insurance.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans with measurable ROI.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work within tight budgets and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, creative thinking, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with B2B marketing experience.

The hiring range for this position is $117,280-$168,600 annually. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, generous health and well-being programs, a 401(k) and pension plan, career development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flexible work, time off allowances and much more.
