We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join the International Finance Team based in Maidenhead.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process insurance accounting transactions, including incoming receipts for premiums and loss recoveries, as well as outgoing payments for claims and reinsurance
  • Running pay cycles
  • Maintaining and updating the vendor database
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Scanning documents to OnBase
  • Processing journals
  • Performing various monthly and quarterly reconciliations
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Proven accounting experience (ideally within a multinational environment)
  • Good working knowledge of both accounts receivable and account payable modules
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure that deadlines are consistently met
  • A proactive and diligent approach to all tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Work collaboratively within the finance function and across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all levels
  • Reliable and flexible, able to work as part of a team but also deliver on own objectives
  • Proficient computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience of PeopleSoft Financials/Oracle and OnBase is an advantage
  • Experience of working for an insurance company desirable but not essential
