We are seeking a college student interested in learning more about the Insurance industry.  This internship will focus on the day-to-day business handlings of our Client Services/Compliance department.  This position requires onsite presence (20-25 Hours a week) at our office located in San Pedro Garza Garcia.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Set Up:
    • Manage the vendor set-up process.
    • Communicate with brokers and clients via email/phone calls.
    • Scan invoices into the system.
    • Gain skills in communication and system processes.
  • Confirmation of Reinsurance:
    • Handle the receipt, scanning, and uploading of Signed Confirmation of Reinsurance documents.
    • Facilitate smoother audits by ensuring timely and accurate document management.
    • Communicate with Business Administrative Manager and manage electronic filing of documents.
    • Learn about the audit process and relevant regulations.
  • Follow-up on AML Documents:
    • Assist with following up on AML approvals by communicating with local clients and brokers.
    • Manage a shared inbox and serve as a backup when needed.
    • Learn about the AML approval process and how to organize follow-ups.
  • Audit Support:
    • Support the team by uploading necessary documents into the audit file.
    • Ensure all documents are properly filed to facilitate audits.
    • Familiarize with various systems and maintain effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Business Administration or a similar academic program
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of technology, including Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated customer support, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity accessing/using databases to retrieve, use, and present data.
