To supervise the set-up of all functions and meetings as specified in Banquet Event Orders. To meet customer needs by making changes as desired, keeping in mind the budget and expenses that may result. To supervise the purchase of all supplies needed to operate the control room. Will be responsible for the training of new personnel.
This position supports our Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Norwood, MA!
The shift starts at 2pm and can vary between 4-12 hours depending upon the day and the business level. Friday and Saturday are ordinarily the longest due to the banquet events as well as some weekdays. The shorter shifts occur when there are primarily daytime meetings, particularly when they last for multiple days. Daytime shifts may be required depending upon the staffing levels and the busiest times overall are late winter/early spring and the fall. Flexibility is highly preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $24.38-$30.48 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
