Overview

The Asia Pacific Division has an opening for a Consultant Engineer to be based in Thailand and we are currently seeking for a degree qualified engineer who is interested in developing a career in loss prevention engineering.

 

This position will report to the Group Manager - Field Engineering based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

The job will involve:

  • evaluating on-site hazards and communicating risks;
  • identifying and accurately quantifying exposures at industrial properties;
  • assessing adequacy and operational functionality of protective equipment;
  • evaluating in-house loss prevention measures;
  • consulting with senior management on solutions and management of change, with the aim of reducing risks;
  • extensive traveling of at least 30% - 40%.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • At least 5 – 8 years of hands-on industrial and/or maintenance experience. 
  • Direct involvement in engineering projects would be an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, problem solving skills.
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proven technical capability including diverse knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
