FM Global is a leading property and commercial insurance company that provides risk management and loss prevention services through a unique combination of engineering, underwriting and claims. We insure more than one-third of Fortune 1000-size companies. We have office in several continents and in Brazil our office is located in Itaim Bibi, São Paulo.

We are looking for an engineer to work as a field Consultant Engineer. After a comprehensive engineering training program that includes self-study loss prevention material, classes in our modern and state-of-the-art training center in the United States and visits to our clients locations, you will work independently from your home office, traveling to client facilities to solve complicated technical issues and meeting with local management of the world's best-known companies. You will be entrusted to evaluate multimillion dollar facilities, sometimes around the world, and make decisions that involve complex business processes every day.

It is a 'hands-on' job where you will need to be a self-starter, a problem-solver, a consultant developing solutions and deciding how best to protect the sites of our clients. You will travel approximately 100 nights per year.

As a Consultant Enginer you will conduct field visits, office work, and projects for large commercial occupancies and hazards.  You will work with minimal supervision and must be capable of working independently.
