Responsibilities - External

FM Global is currently seeking a talented and creative web application developer. This role is part of Information Services and reports into our e-Business & Marketing Systems team. If you have an eye for design, are innovative and visionary, this could be the role for you!  

 

Design and develop front-end code for FM Global internal and external websites and related web properties.

Design and develop data-driven web services.

Drive ideas from concept to production via sketches and wireframing.

Comply with branding standards and guidelines, innovate new ideas using the latest technologies.

Create layouts and deliver content to drive user engagement.

Consult with clients to conceptualize applicable content and options

Identify, provide recommendations and solutions to remedy technical issues and obstacles.

Develop concepts and manage front-end UI/UX designs including creation of visual style guides

Implement associated development tasks in web application programing languages including HTML5, CSS3/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, D3.js, JSON, AJAX, XML, etc.

Ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications - External

3+ years’ work experience as a Web Application and/or Front-end Web Developer and/or relatable experience.

Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or certification in web software development.

Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Dreamweaver, or similar development tools.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Digital Publishing Suite, or similar creative tools.

Demonstrated proficiency in web application programing languages including HTML5, CSS3/SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, D3.js.

Demonstrated analytical, written, and communication abilities and presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to provide a strong design portfolio of work projects.

Effective project management and collaboration skills.
