  • Overview - External

    Reporting to the Manager EMEA / AP Brand Management who is based in Luxembourg, the successful incumbent will lead and execute the agreed-to marketing communications strategy and programs for FM Global in Asia Pacific (AP), specifically Asia and Australia. The incumbent will also implement agreed-to strategy and action plans for all public presence activities, including advertising, public relations, web, events and exhibits for AP market. 


    This role ensures that all public presence work is done within agreed-to marketing practices and procedures, and in alignment with the brand positioning, localized as appropriate.  The incumbent will provide input and drive development for marketing and communications support to AP division management as needed to support both new business development and retention of clients.

    Responsibilities - External

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create and execute an advertising and public relations (PR) plan, working closely with other marketing division units, to achieve objectives within budget.
    • Manage implementation of programs (advertising, multimedia, viral, interactive / web, direct mail, events, exhibits, etc) through internal and external resources.
    • Manage, direct, oversee and foster AP agency and vendor relationships in the development and execution of public presence initiatives.
    • Manage public presence budgets (advertising, PR, events, exhibits, etc) for assigned markets and establish realistic budget objectives.
    • Serve as resource for AP division management team by advising on localization issues, ensuring appropriate collateral is present in assigned markets, addressing local marketing issues as they arise.
    • Continually evaluate processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and quality of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force. 
    • Influence and drive alignment of public presence activities within assigned markets to ensure message consistency across markets and within global marketing vision.
    • Display a good understanding of client needs and the sales process to ensure the needs of the business are addressed.
    • Work with peers within marketing to ensure that investments in content are leveraged across assigned markets.
    • Ability to travel on a needs basis.

    Qualifications - External

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree, with a major in Marketing and Communications desired;
    • At least 10 years’ experience as a marketing communications professional in a corporate setting and / or an agency working on global advertising and PR projects;
    • In-depth knowledge in Microsoft office software and current communications technology such as Sharepoint, etc;
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills;
    • Strong interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
