We are currently seeking a graduate engineer to join us as a Plan Review Engineer. This role involves the insightful application of loss prevention concepts and the in-depth review of technical drawings and specifications for new construction projects, with a focus on the analysis of associated automatic fire protection systems to ensure that designs are in accordance with FM Global’s Property Loss Prevention Standards.
The role will also involve the effective communication of findings and recommendations to our clients and their contractors, as well as reviewing and consulting with clients on properly managing fire protection outages and impairments.
Full training will be given to the successful applicant including travel to FM Global’s state-of-the-art Learning Centre in Massachusetts, USA and exciting career development opportunities across all areas of our business exist for the right individual once part of the team. You should be educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline with a keen interest in loss prevention. You will also need to be a team player with excellent report writing and communication skills. The role will involve occasional travel to customers’ sites.
