Overview - External

As Assistant Operations Engineering Manager for the Frankfurt Operation you will work with the Operations Engineering Manager toward achieving profitability and growth through continuous improvement of loss costs, efficiency of engineering services and customer satisfaction. In addition, the Assistant Operations Engineering Manager assists the OEM with the setting of departmental policy, goals, and objectives based on and in support of corporate and operation’s needs.

Responsibilities - External


  • Work with the OEM to develop, implement and monitor a strategic engineering business plan that aligns to the corporate objectives and drives positive impact on the Key Result Areas (profitability, customer retention and new business).
  • Work with the OEM to align the risk improvement objectives with the account goals.
  • In addition the AOEM leads a team of Account Engineers to ensure provision of high quality property loss prevention services to customer accounts headquartered within the area of responsibility of that operation.
  • This position also leads a team of Group Managers – Field Engineering (GMFE) to provide high quality, state of the art loss prevention services to customers within their area of responsibility.
  • Managing the integrity of engineering data and the quality of engineering products
  • Assure timely delivery of products and services.


Qualifications - External

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • 7 – 10 years of Loss Prevention Engineering
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including public speaking
  • Strong technology aptitude
  • Effective understanding of property insurance
  • Basic knowledge of business management practices
