The Engineering Processing Department has an immediate opening for a Field Engineering Assistant in the Vancouver office.
The main responsibility is to assist Field Engineers in maximizing their time with our clients by organizing/planning and scheduling field engineering visits, building trusting relationships with Field Engineers and Group Managers of Field Engineering while reviewing processes for efficiency gains.
The incumbent will effectively organize and schedule field engineering visits, monitor to ensure completion of all risk evaluations, maintain statistics and performance measurements, follow up with clients regarding risk improvement efforts. The incumbent will be a liaison between the office and field staff. Incumbent will interact with clients and brokers on a daily basis. In many cases, they are the first contact that local site managers have with FM Global. Incumbent will require strong customer service skills, problem solving skills, leadership, and project coordinator experience/skills.
Risk Assessment – Support field engineering efforts to conduct risk assessment of our clients’ locations
Risk Improvement – Support field engineering efforts to achieve substantial risk improvement
Client Engagement – Support to deliver timely, accurate and efficient loss prevention services
Administrative Support – Provide support to Group Manager Field Engineering and Field Engineers
