With the recent opening of our state-of-the-art learning center in Norwood, MA, we are looking for an experienced, creative learning design manager to lead a team of experienced curriculum designers to develop innovative learning solutions, both online and for our active learning classrooms. Our classrooms are equipped with Smart Boards, Surface Hubs and video cameras, providing us with endless opportunities for interaction. In addition to leading the development of classroom workshops, this position also leads the development of overall curriculum design and is an expert in assessments, mentoring, on-the-job activities and on-demand learning. Experience developing complex curricula is a must.

 

Responsibilities - External

 

  • This position leads curriculum design and development team members and the strategy to deliver creative, interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Leads the assessment of learning needs (via interviews, focus groups, observation, and collaboration with partners and SMEs), and recommends associated learning solutions. This includes leading the team’s development of engaging and effective curricula and continuing education and supporting actual development as needed. In the event commercial courseware is used, you will manage vendor research, procurement, and culturally-specific adaptations.
  • Responsible for measuring, analyzing, and evaluating learning program effectiveness.

 

Qualifications - External

  • Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree in instructional design or adult learning preferred.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and vendors.
  • 10+ years experience in the following:
  • instructional design/training experience with adult learning methodologies, including blended learning and flipped classrooms.
  • supervisory/management experience.
  • vendor sourcing and management experience.
  • managing learning projects
  • leading communications and training using web-based technology. 
  • Experience working with senior executives and business leaders at all levels.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and management skills.
  • Ability to recognize and understand business training issues and requirements and how to use technology to meet these requirements.
