Overview - External

Performs duties related to foodservice in corporate dining or hotel.  May also provide services in the country store in the corporate office location. These include basic food preparation, customer service, sanitation and documentation. Incumbents must be able to complete basic cash reports as well as assist with catered events.

Responsibilities - External

  1. Slices meats, cheese and vegetables for deli and salad bars.

 

  1. Prepares sandwiches, salads and other menu items assigned by supervisor.

 

  1. Operates grill station on line for short order cooking during breakfast, lunch service and buffets.

 

  1. Serves customers on hot or cold line during service hours.

 

  1. Operates cash register during service hours and fill out cash reports.

 

  1. Set up delivery of catered event on location of hotel or office building.

 

  1. Maintains sanitation of all assigned areas.

Qualifications - External

High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Local Board of Health Serve safe certification.

1-2 years in foodservice industry including customer service.

Skills include basic food preparation, interpersonal customer service, sanitation and related cashier functions.
