FM Global Cleveland Operations is looking for a B&M loss prevention consultants who can identify and evaluate hazards associated with boilers, machinery and equipment while consulting with clients within the operations geographic territory of Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia and western portions of Pennsylvania and New York.

As a consultant engineer you will work with FM Global clients; within the Cleveland Operations geographic territory, focusing on the clients' equipment hazards. During on-site client visits, you will perform machinery risk assessments, in order to evaluate risks to boilers, pressure vessels, turbines and other capital machinery, as well as electrical equipment and utilities in order to provide consultative recommendations to help minimize risks from associated equipment. Additionally, you may also perform in-service jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels.
Extensive training will be provided to maximize your expertise and experience to work with large, complex industrial facilities focusing on specific business segments such as power generation, chemical, pulp & paper and molten materials (iron, steel, aluminum and glass working).
You will be working with minimal supervision, based from your home office, working independently as well as being a member of a team.
You will conduct office responsibilities from you home office, traveling routinely; via company provided vehicle, to clients' facilities. Overnight travel is expected approximately 30% of the time.
