This administrative role will support six account engineers and one manager in the  St. Louis Account Engineering department, will provide scheduling support for at least two of our jurisdictional consultants, and will provide/share support for the Power Generation Practice Leader role. 

Responsibilities - External

This position will work as an integral member of the account engineering department to support client and prospect initiatives, and will be a contributing member of the administrative team that provides seamless support to all client related initiatives. Must possess strong communication and excel skills.  Will be responsible for composing correspondence and creating reports as well as analyzing information for inclusion in reports and/or presentation materials; preparing charts, graphs and tables as necessary.  Will schedule appointments and make meeting and travel arrangements as needed for the account engineering team.

 

This position will also have the responsibility for scheduling jurisdictional services for two Jurisdictional Consultants and becoming a back-up for others on the jurisdictional support team. Our jurisdictional team conducts boiler and pressure vessel inspections at our clients' locations.  It will be the responsibility of this person to contact our clients to organize, schedule and ensure all visits are updated in the Jurisdictional Consultants' calendars, allowing time for travel, and risk report writing.

 

This position will also provide/share support for the Power Generation Practice Leader which entails anticipating and preparing materials needed by the Practice Leader and team for conferences, correspondence, appointments, and meetings, sometimes under direction, sometimes through independent judgement.

 

Qualifications - External

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience supporting a team and an executive manager preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point 
  • Must be team oriented and have strong customer service mindset
