AFM specializes in property insurance for the middle market. We distribute our property insurance products and engineering solutions exclusively through a network of brokers.

There is an exciting opportunity for an Account Administrator in AFM’s Boston office helping to develop a growing portfolio of middle market business in our region. Responsibilities - External

This position is responsible for assisting Production Underwriters and Account Engineers in performing account level administrative tasks as well as any necessary department administrative needs. Your main responsibility will be to produce and process policy documentation and invoices in accordance with corporate standards. You will also service new and renewal business, including logging prospects, coding data in appropriate systems, calculating terrorism premiums, constructing monthly reports, overseeing premium collection and filing.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will maintain constructive and harmonious relations with all internal and external customers.

Qualifications - External

High School diploma or equivalent. An Associates degree, or some college or insurance courses is desirable.

  • Strong administration background ideally in an insurance environment.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, proficient computer skills, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), typing speed and accuracy, attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize workflow from multiple sources.
