Overview - External

We currently have an opportunity for an HR Specialist to join the HR Department in the Frankfurt office. Reporting to Kristine Alex, HR Manager, the role will be responsible for providing full generalist advisory services to the business. With a focus on delivering a high level of service across an internationally diverse, matrix based structure this role will encompass many different and varied activities. 

 

Responsibilities - External

  • Provide an effective recruitment and selection service to specific departments, ensuring that the necessary talent is identified and secured within the business.
  • Review recruitment processes and standards and establish a best practice within the Operation.
  • Provide advice to line managers on all HR-related topics including guidance and advice to managers on relevant HR policies and procedures.
  • Offer a confidential and advisory service to employees as necessary.
  • Co-coordinate international assignments including assistance with the issuing of visas as appropriate.
  • Working on ad-hoc projects. 

Qualifications - External

  • 5+ years of relevant generalist experience at advisor level in an International HR position.
  • Extensive experience of recruitment and selection at all levels including middle management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both, English and German; knowledge of an Eastern European language such as Polish, Czech or Hungarian is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships and to attract external applicants.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Excellent technology skills, including MS Office and social media.
