Responsibilities - External

The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for the collection, evaluation, understanding, and communication of business requirements involved in the development of new or the modification and ongoing support of existing enterprise business applications.   This person will focus on the disaster recovery impacts of these activities, additional job responsibilities are listed below.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Respond in the event of a disaster/equipment failure
  • Ensure newly introduced applications are prioritized appropriately and DR plans are created
  • Maintenance of DR online repository
  • Manage Replication Needs

o Ensure new/changed dependencies are accounted.

o Facilitate change control process as related to DR efforts

  • Conduct DR plan audit
  • Conduct DR exercises coordinating all logistics and tracking of all efforts, issues, and resolutions
  • Maintain metrics

o Track ongoing cost of ownership

o Maintain Application Scorecard

o Coordinate, oversee and project manage varied groups to accomplish DR objectives

o Generate/provide presentations on DR to varied stakeholders

o DR priority validation with varied stakeholders.

Qualifications - External

Education:   Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred.

Experience:   6+ years of general business analysis and/or infrastructure experience, with 2+ years experience in project management. Experience supporting or exposure related to a disaster recovery program in some capacity



  • Knowledge of FM Global's current/planned technological environment and the appropriate technologies, tools, infrastructure and techniques used to protect and recover business applications.


  • Experience gathering requirements, physical design, and working with business processes.
  • Proven ability to work in technical environments that use tools involved in issue tracking, and documentation and presentation.
  • Proven experience with managing projects of significant scope and complexity with project teams consisting of 5+ individuals.


  • Proven ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to provide direction to others and influence decisions made
