    Responsibilities - External

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Engineer in Belgium. This consultancy role will include conducting technical audits at client sites, providing Loss Prevention advice and assisting clients with risk improvement projects. Applications are welcomed from a wide range of engineering disciplines.


    Qualifications - External

    You will need to be a problem solver in this ‘hands-on’ job, both specialist and consultant, deciding how best to protect the companies, for which you are responsible. In order to fulfil this role, you will have an engineering degree (chemical, mechanical, electrical, etc.), industry experience and a willingness to travel. You will have a very good knowledge of English in written and spoken, speak Flemish fluently and being able to express yourself in French will be a serious advantage. Good organisational skills are required as you should be able to operate from a home-office.


    The career at FM Global starts with a structured training programme including self study, e-based assessment and on-site mentoring. This training is supposed to last 12 months and is mainly conducted in Belgium. However, it also includes training outside Belgium - in Frankfurt, Germany as well as at our training facilities in the US.
