High School/Trade School diploma, 3 years general mechanical or electrical experience, construction background with equipment operation a plus. Be able to commute to the FM Global Research Campus, West Glocester RI:

Applies to all Labs, LBL, SBL, Remote Test Site, Earthquake Lab, and Campus Work Areas
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Ability to work at heights
Ability to operate vehicles , lift trucks, fork trucks, other vehicles
Must be able to work while wearing full Firefighter’s Turnout gear with SCBA for an extended period of time in a wet and smoky environment.
Must be able to obtain certification for using a personal respirator and work while wearing one for an extended period of time in a wet and smoky environment.
Must not be claustrophobic and be able to work in tight and cramped spaces.
Must have a current US Driver’s License.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to work while wearing a Fall Protection Harness.
