Responsibilities - External

The University Relations Program Manager/Recruiter is responsible for executing FM Global’s University Relations strategy globally including activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and on-boarding of intern/coop and entry-level university talent into FM Global. This role will provide direction and counsel to our local, national and international operations, who are responsible for implementing these programs, to ensure local implementations are consistent and meet the overall university recruiting plan goals. This role will also be responsible for the hands-on day to day management and delivery of university recruiting results for the corporate functions.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Define the University recruiting strategy gaining input from business leaders, operations and HR Managers
  • Consult with International HR Managers to assist them with the development of University Recruiting programs and implementation plans for their regions
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key colleges and universities
  • Drive the execution of the Corporate location based university recruitment process, including, but not limited to, creating job postings, sourcing candidates, pre-screening resumes and making recommendations to hiring managers
  • Responsible for overseeing university relations recruiting, which includes attending and/or the coordination of FM Global representation to attend career fairs, on-site interviewing, scheduling visits/events and building the FM Global brand
  • Partner with in-house SWE and NSBE Ambassadors to strategize and implement plans to increase FM Global’s recruitment outreach to diverse groups on college campuses
  • Assist with the university relations materials for distribution and associated marketing campaigns
  • Hands on management of the corporate location based co-op and internship program events
  • Assist with managing the university relations budget and create cost effective strategies
  • Create and track campus recruitment metrics
  • Continually work to increase efficiency in all university relations recruitment programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications - External

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline required
  • 5+ years of overall recruiting experience inclusive of 2+ years of University Relations experience required
  • Prior experience developing and implementing a US university relation recruiting program inclusive of internships / co-op’s and new graduates required
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems required, ICIMS or Workday a plus
  • Prior experience utilizing social media in recruitment efforts
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively as an individual or team member
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task, own, and drive processes and programs to completion with minimal supervision
  • The ability to produce detailed work accurately and quickly
  • The ability to think proactively and independently to get work done efficiently and effectively
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong university and business relationships
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% depending on the season (heavier travel in the spring and fall)
