Overview - External

We currently have a new opportunity for a Manager, EMEA Human Resources to support our European locations. The main responsibility is to significantly contribute to the success of FM Global, primarily through ensuring that the needs of the EMEA business and human resources organizations are reflected in the design and implementation of Corporate HR programs and processes.

Responsibilities - External

Main Responsibilities (non- exhaustive list)

  • maximize the business value of services provided by the EMEA HR function ensuring needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • work in partnership with EMEA HR managers and others in areas such as talent acquisition, employee and management development, compensation, benefits, HRIS and global mobility.
  • provide functional leadership and direction to the EMEA HR Managers and act as a strategic business partner to the divisional leadership team based in Luxembourg by providing comprehensive value added human resource consultation services.
  • solve business problems through customized HR based solutions and provides a comprehensive range of human resource tools and solutions that support business objectives.
  • coach the divisional leadership team in recruitment, employee relations, development, deployment and retention of high calibre employees to maintain FM Global’s competitive advantage.

Qualifications - External

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor degree plus professional qualification in a human resources related field.
  • 15+ years of HR experience. 5+ years of HR managerial experience.
  • Extensive EMEA background of generalist human resources disciplines, including in the areas of benefits, compensation, global mobility and legal compliance.
  • Self-starter and pragmatic leader able to collaborate, network and counsel. Ability in project management and consulting.
  • General management skills and complete understanding of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Effective negotiating, communications, problem solving, analysis, influencing, and group presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus

The role will involve international travel.
