Overview - External

The Account Engineering department has a position opening for an Administrative Assistant to be located in Frankfurt, Germany. The qualified candidate will report to Atallah Ibrahim, Account Engineering Group Manager.

As Administrative Assistant for the Frankfurt Operation you will provide support to the work group in all administrative tasks.

Responsibilities - External


  • Run and analyze reports containing complex data and prepare summaries
  • Organize materials needed by the GMAE for meetings and conferences
  • Handle correspondence on behalf of the GMAE, e.g. from dictation and as per own knowledge of company procedures
  • Answer phone calls and reply to inquiries
  • Schedules appointments for GMAE; arranges travel schedule and reservations
  • Handles administrative details on behalf of the work group; uses considerable judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in nonroutine situations

Qualifications - External


  • Bachelor degree (preferably in Insurance) with 3+ years of work experiences or high school diploma with 5+ years of work experience or equivalent qualifications
  • Fluent in German and English (Swedish, Dutch and/or French is a plus)
  • Full Microsoft Office literacy, including strong MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point knowledge (MS Access is a plus)
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability; high analytical thinking ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and prioritize tasks
  • Hands-on mentality, self-motivated, collaborative and team-oriented
  • Significant ability to handle confidential information and material
