  • Overview - External

    Reporting to Asia Operations Claims Manager, the position provides support to the Claims team in all administrative tasks and ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the Asia Operations Claims team.

    Responsibilities - External

    The job will involve:

    • obtaining initial loss details and assisting adjusters to respond to the needs of our clients;
    • providing administrative support for the processing of all claims;
    • run and analyze reports containing complex data and prepare summaries for the adjusters and management;
    • monitoring of key results areas and providing proactive feedback to the Claims team to ensure targets are met;
    • organizing meetings and travel arrangements for the Claims team;
    • interacting with other departments to ensure that the losses can be processed error-free and in a timely / effective manner;
    • keep abreast of company based systems technology.

    Key Challenges:

    • managing multiple changing priorities;
    • being able to respond quickly and efficiently to competing demands from the team members;
    • communicating with confidence and clarify when dealing with internal and external clients.

    Qualifications - External

    Applicant should possess the following:

    • Diploma holder;
    • at least 3 years of administrative experience supporting a manager and / or work group;
    • excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
    • hands-on mentality, self-motivated, collaborative and team-oriented;
    • good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin;
    • proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point;
    • ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
    • good basic knowledge of insurance and insurance practices would be an advantage.
