Review and interpret incoming sketch and attachment data and utilize a customized document management system (Documentum) to initiate workorders for the Engineering Plan Services staff.
Apply business rules to make decisions regarding the prioritization and distribution of work.
Use digital scanners, CAD systems, and other tools to produce limited revisions of plan drawings and attachments.
Work with electronic and paper documents, ensuring proper filing and tracking.
Perform administrative/clerical duties
Assoc. Degree / Diploma / Certificate in CAD/GIS Engineering
1 year in a production environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite,
Operational knowledge of standard tools such as PC’s, scanners, plotters, printers and e-mail.
Technical systems proficiency encompassing CAD GIS, imaging, document management, and/or programming languages.
Meticulous attention to detail and typing accuracy, Ability to work independently or in concert with others dependent on project requirements.
