    Responsibilities - External

    Acting as the lead systems and technology resource for North American benefits the Benefits Consultant will perform lead functional responsibilities for North American benefits acting as the primary liaison to HRIS and IS while maintaining strong working relationships with payroll and external vendors.   Incumbent will lead critical annual projects including Open Enrollment and ACA and oversee the delivery of benefits as the operational lead for Workday configuration and administration.   On an annual basis the incumbent will spend approximately 50% of their time supporting retirement operations for the US and Canada; managing all retirement vendor integration activities while overseeing the defined benefits pension and retirement systems configuration and the delivery of the online Total Rewards platform; 25% of time will be spent leading health and welfare projects including Open Enrollment and ACA and 25% of time will be spent on vendor management and overseeing vendor security activities as required. The incumbent will work closely with the benefits management team; HRIS, Payroll and IS partners to ensure operational excellence and ongoing administrative efficiency for all benefits service delivery matters. Serving as the operations functional lead for benefits, the Consultant will ensure integrity of benefits databases and provide support to end-users in benefits to troubleshoot Workday and other integrated systems matters including retirement operations matters. The incumbent will manage multiple project and work streams against project timelines and will be responsible for monitoring, overseeing and ensuring all benefits related data file remittances for North American Benefits are timely and accurate. The Consultant will define, develop and ensure completion of test plans for benefits systems modifications and ensure data integrity of all benefits systems.

    Qualifications - External

    • Minimum 3 years benefits including retirement operation; HRIS or related business analyst experience
    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in either business, math, statistics or computer science
    • Prior experience with HRMS, in HRIS, benefits or HR payroll; with experience in developing functional specifications
    • Workday, benefits administration, self-service, and query experience preferred

     

    Skills/Knowledge:

    • Advanced quantitative, analytical and personal computing skills with a mastery of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access or other database query tools
    • Detail oriented, extremely organized and the ability to manage multiple assignments successfully in a fast-paced changing environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
