This is the introductory level to the Global Services account engineering function.
The Account Engineer (AE) is the most visible, influential, engineering service FM Global offers. The primary responsibility for an AE is providing responsive customer service including innovative solutions to loss prevention challenges that will foster long-term client relationships. The AE needs to accurately assess and evaluate regional risk information to obtain a competitive advantage for our clients and FM Global. They need to consistently achieve risk improvement on a regional basis and manage change with regional client contacts. They need to understand their insurance client's goals and the risks present, to help the client prioritize the exposures to reduce the frequency and severity of loss. A Global Service AE works with their clients to help them sell the agreed upon risk improvement plans to their senior management and facility management.
