  • Overview - External

    The Customer Service Consultant aids clients in managing fire protection impairments at their facilities throughout San Francisco Operations. Impairments are documented and communicated to internal personnel to allow for appropriate business actions.

    Responsibilities - External

    • Manage impairments to automatic fire protection/detection systems. Work with clients to minimize the extent and duration of impairments
    • Work with Consultant Engineers to determine potential loss scenario and damages for impairments
    • Coordinate high importance impairment communications to Account Teams
    • Coordinate action plans for locations with extended impairments and idle/vacant locations
    • Manage high-volume inbound calls and emails from clients
    • Ensure clients and internal engineers are assisted and data entered in a timely manner 

    Qualifications - External

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or College Certificate/Diploma in Fire Protection Program, or equivalent industry experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Effective multitasking and prioritization
    • Expectation to hold this position for at least 3 years.
