    Responsibilities - External

    Reporting to the Manager, Health and Welfare Plans, and as a key member of the North America Benefits team, this individual will partner with other team members to support FM Global’s US and Canada benefit plans, policies and programs. The successful candidate will have strong customer service, communication and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Respond as primary contact to day to day benefit questions, providing excellent customer service and support to employees, retirees and HR management
    • Provide operations support for Workday administrative tasks related to benefits life event changes
    • Monitor all incoming mail to the benefits department and process, review and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payment
    • Assist with coordination of LOA to ensure timely and accurate tracking and payroll reporting
    • Support assigned annual open enrollment activities and coordinate events and employee meetings as needed
    • Research, compile, analyze and summarize data for routine and/or special projects or reports
    • Assist benefits team managers as needed on special projects and assignments including the administration and communication of health, welfare, work/life, and retirement benefits, policies and programs for the U.S. and Canada
    • Assists with managing vendor relationships with service providers in accordance with established vendor management protocols and service agreements
    • Support audits, special projects and other duties as assigned

    Skills/knowledge

    • Working knowledge of benefits administration, practices and regulations
    • Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Power Point and ability to effectively present data
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong listening, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and timely results
    • Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
    • Solid time management skills and ability to follow through on assignments

    Education

    • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience
    • CEBS or similar certification preferred

     

     

    Qualifications - External

    Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably Benefits

    •              Experience using HRMS/HCM; Workday preferred.
