This is an Administrative Assistant position. The Field Engineering Assistant’s (EFA) main responsibility is to assist Field Engineers (FEs) in maximizing their time with our clients. This position works from our St. Louis Operations office to support a team of engineers who reside in the St. Louis area and primarily conduct visits throughout Missouri. The St. Louis Operation is based one of 66 offices worldwide.

The FEA will organize, prioritize, and schedule client visits for all FEs as well as follow up on client recommendations. FEAs maintain individual FE calendars by ensuring there is an efficient, balanced workload. The FEA is responsible for administrative support to the Group Manager of Field Engineering (GMFE) and a team of FEs (approx. 10-12). The FEA maintains tracking of time sheets, individual and team statistics, performance measurements and monthly reports. The FEA is responsible for coordinating and participating in team meetings. FEAs are the liaisons between the office and field staff.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred - High School Diploma required
Project coordination experience preferred.
MS Office Suite – Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Access a plus.
Minimum 3 years administrative experience supporting a group and/or manager.
This role requires simultaneous attention to many details and the ability to work with FM Global employees and clients. Excellent language skills, both oral and written are necessary. Significant time is spent contacting clients to schedule client visits for the Field Engineers (FE). The successful candidate is detail oriented and has excellent organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
