    Responsibilities - External

     

    Join an agile development team that designs, builds, and implements state of the art web applications using for use across our multi-billion-dollar company and by our customers.  The team also expertly designs and develops services to provide critical data from our transactional systems to drive other business processes throughout the company and for our customers.    As a Software Engineer you will Design, develop, maintain and enhance multi-tiered rest API based Web Applications which may be transactional or analytical in nature.  Individuals holding this position may be assigned to project teams, work independently, or lead others on a project team, as assigned.  You must have a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs, and collaborate with business and IS colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, assess available technologies, determine infrastructure and recommend solution options. 

    As an incumbent, you will need to demonstrate:

    Proficiency in current technology.

    Willingness to write test Automation code using Specflow and Selenium.

    Willingness to learn agile development practices.

    Understanding of architectural principles and standards for software development, data, and security.

    Willingness to mentor less experienced developers, foster teamwork and communicate effectively.

     

    Qualifications - External

     You must have extensively used majority of these technologies designing and building effective solutions: 

    • C#, ASP.NET, MVC
    • REST APIs
    • JavaScript/CSS/SASS/Angular or React or Vue
    • SQL Server

     

     

    In addition, you must have most of the following skills:

     

    • Object oriented design and development.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Prior knowledge of Scrum, CICD, and Test Automation preferred.
    • Self-motivated to stay current in development technologies, tools and techniques.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work self-directed and as part of a team.
    • Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
