  • Overview - External

    Based in Frankfurt, Germany and reporting to the Senior Benefits Analyst, the Compensation and Benefits Coordinator oversees the day-to-day administration of the payroll and benefits functions in support of the various countries within Frankfurt Operations territory.


    Responsibilities - External

    • Ensure the ongoing monthly payroll processing, tax and benefits payments for all Frankfurt Operations countries.  Complete the various monthly & annual returns and other tax/government submissions required.
    • Serve as liaison to the in-country payroll providers, social insurance & government agencies for day-to-day matters.
    • Administer and manage payroll for all incoming and outgoing international assignees (IA) under Frankfurt Operations.  Act as liaison between outsourced IA consultants and administrators to ensure record-keeping, submissions and payments are accurate.  Work with these parties to understand and resolve complex IA tax and social security issues.
    • Ensure all payroll, payment and benefits transactions are compliant with local legislative & social security requirements and document processes accordingly.
    • Research, investigate and resolve employee and manager queries to a satisfactory conclusion within the confines of legislation and Company policy.

    Qualifications - External

    • Vocational training and at least five years’ experience in payroll administration
    • Good knowledge of German labor tax and social security regulations; experience with additional European countries beneficial
    • Excellent numeric and customer service skills

    • Experience in managing confidential information
    • Excellent organization skills to prioritize and manage workload independently
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English; additional European languages beneficial
