Previous financial reporting experience including the use of financial reporting systems is required. Strong financial analysis experience in addition to extensive Excel skills is desired. Experience working with international entities including the use of foreign exchange is preferred. This position requires good analytical skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently. (CPA or MBA preferred)
7+ years experience in Finance/Accounting
Preferred insurance industry experience
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
Professional Certification (CPA or equivalent ) desirable
The candidate will be involved in the preparation of quarterly and annual submissions of rating agency surveys and requests.
The candidate will be involved in gathering information and preparing presentations for the annual meetings with the rating agencies.
The candidate will be involved in gathering financial and other regulatory requirements for new entity setups, including working with external consultants to gather requirements.
The candidate will be involved in the preparation of finance related items needed for new insurance license applications.
This individual will also be responsible for providing support to other finance units including Canada and AsiaPac. Special projects will be assigned as and when needed.
