    The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is responsible for global talent acquisition technology management, global employment brand management and large scale global talent acquisition project management. Additional areas of focus and responsibility include new hire onboarding strategy, corporate compliance with federal and state employment regulations, development of recruiting metrics, reports, processes and procedures as well as continued deployment of candidate interview and assessment tools.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Global talent acquisition technology management – overall responsibility for managing the operations and ongoing optimization efforts for global talent acquisition technology platforms (applicant tracking system current & future, pre-employment background checking system, E-Verify, I-9 and the like).  At a not yet determined future date, this role will lead the planning, implementation and management of FM Global’s future talent acquisition technology platform (Workday).

    Recruitment Brand Management - manage FM Global’s employment brand vendor ensuring recruitment media adheres to FM Global employment brand standards; plan and manage an enterprise level recruitment media strategy including digital and social channels; policies processes, and systems; consult and advise on recruitment campaigns including diversity; define and assess performance metrics.

    Global Talent Acquisition Projects - undertakes large scale global talent acquisition projects of a challenging nature that contribute to FM Global meeting its global talent acquisition goals.

    Development of Processes, Procedures, Recruiting Metrics and Reports - Recommend and implement new global talent acquisition policies, processes and procedures.  Develops systems to measure, monitor and report on impactful global employment-related data as well as measure the effectiveness of the global talent acquisition strategy.

    Global New Hire Onboarding Strategy - develop on-boarding strategy and process which differentiates operations, geography and functions as appropriate; establish on-boarding metrics for long-term evaluation of new hires; supplement orientation requirements for local needs; drive enhanced global on-boarding process implementation.

    Ensure Corporate Compliance with Federal and State Employment Regulations - keeps current on new employment legislation and trends. Determines the applicability of same within the organization to drive FM Global's talent acquisition consulting model.  

    Candidate Interview and Assessment Tools - manage candidate interview and assessment tools to ensure all  managers have the tools, have been trained on how to use them and measure their results.

    Supporting talent acquisition teams across FM Global’s global footprint regarding recruiting technology, employment branding and recruiting processes.

    Performs other related duties as required.

     

     

    Qualifications - External

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline required, Master’s degree preferred 
    • Experience
    • 10+ years of overall recruiting experience, with at least 5 years of direct responsibility for managing talent acquisition technology, process and projects with a global organization
    • Prior experience managing a global organizations applicant tracking systems and technology vendor providers required, ICIMS or Workday highly desired
    • Prior experience managing employment branding programs and vendors required
    • In-depth Project Management experience as well as an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines required
    • Proven ability to multi-task, own, and drive global processes and programs to completion with minimal supervision required
    • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and issues both verbally and in various written media in a persuasive and business appropriate manner
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop and use structured approaches to identify root causes and recommend solutions
    • Advanced decision making and time management skills including the ability to consistently and effectively handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
    • Ability to tell stories with data, instilling confidence in recommendations, motivating others to act on them
    • An in-depth knowledge of applicable employment law
    • Strong ability to work effectively as an individual and team member
