With the recent opening of our state-of-the-art learning center we are looking for experienced, creative curriculum designers to design blended learning programs including innovative workshops delivered in our active learning classrooms. Our classrooms are equipped with Smart Boards, Surface Hubs and video cameras, providing us with endless opportunities for interaction.


    The instructional designer position requires a person with expertise in learning theories, instructional design models, and knowledge of best practices in delivery, evaluation and assessment. The instructional designer will have experience designing complex and innovative curricula, programs, workshops, courses, and materials, for instructor-led, virtual, online, and blended environments. The instructional designer will be a proven team player with extensive experience designing learning solutions in corporate or academic environments.

    Responsibilities - External

    The following are the specific responsibilities

    • Design curricula from needs analysis through evaluation including planning strategies for content, delivery, learner assessment, communications, and resources
    • Work with steering committees to articulate measurable outcomes that align with business needs
    • Write clear and detailed blueprints and design plans for curricula, programs, workshops and courses
    • Work closely with a team of developers, technologists, project managers, and vendors to oversee the execution of the design
    • Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative methods and curricula, and provide expertise to implement those innovations
    • Partner with technologists to integrate current and emerging educational and social networking technologies into outcomes-driven, impactful learning designs

    Qualifications - External

     5+ years instructional design experience with a focus on active learning methodologies and blended curricula, degree or certificate in instructional design preferred

    • Demonstrated experience in curriculum and program design
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the issues, best practices, and innovations in corporate education
    • Ability to manage projects and perform in situations involving simultaneous initiatives and a degree of ambiguity
