With a history of nearly 200 years and excellent financial ratings we are continuously growing, particularly in Europe and Eastern Europe. We are currently looking for a Consultant Engineer in Russia to work with clients to understand their risks, solve complicated technical issues, and sharing his/her findings with the local management of the world’s best-known companies.

     

    Responsibilities - External

    Consultant Engineers are charged with ensuring that FM Global Engineering Standards are followed and, as necessary, must communicate the appropriate recommendations and/or engineering solutions to ensure client understanding and agreement for risk improvement so strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills are a must. The career at FM Global starts with a structured training programme including self-study, e-based assessment and on-site mentoring. This training is supposed to last 12 months and is mainly conducted in Moscow, Russia. However, it also includes approximately 3 months training outside Russia: in Frankfurt, Germany as well as at our training facilities in the US. After the training is successfully completed, the applicant will work from our office in Moscow city centre or travelling to client facilities in Russia and Europe.

    Qualifications - External

    You will need to be a problem solver in this ‘hands-on’ job, both specialist and consultant, deciding how best to protect the companies, for which you are responsible. In order to fulfil this role, you will have an engineering degree (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial, etc.) industry experience and a willingness to travel extensively in Russia and Europe. You will have a very good knowledge of English in written and spoken, speak Russian fluently and have a valid driver’s license.
