    Responsibilities - External

    This position supervises FM Global's corporate travel function for all FM Global employees located around the world.  This position is responsible for developing strategic policies and programs for the FM Global corporate travel program; handling and overseeing all travel arrangements (air, lodging, etc.); managing relationships with travel management companies and vendors; and managing the corporate travel staff.

    Qualifications - External

    Education:  Bachelor's degree in business administration with 5-7 years of experience in business travel management companies and travel vendor contracting; strong management skills and general accounting knowledge.

     

    Proficiencies:

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

     

    Proven negotiating and relationship building skills to ensure the company receives an appropriate level of service and pricing from travel providers;

     

    Confidence and presence to interact with senior management;

     

    Demonstrated customer service orientation and aptitude for leading change initiatives that improve efficiency and customer (employee) experience;

     

    Knowledge of and experience with airline contracts, preferred hotel programs and corporate credit card programs;

     

    Leadership skills and results orientation; and

     

    Proficiency with financial systems and standard software applications (e.g. Peoplesoft, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access)
