Provide your technical expertise to enterprise learning! Manage and implement learning technology solutions in the Learning Management System (LMS) across FM Global and promote its use for flexible and distributed learning opportunities. Support the LMS and facilitate technical upgrades, technical support, system enhancements and communications to the user, developer, and training community. Act as a liaison between the technical development teams, instructional designers and training managers. Responsible for maintaining data in the LMS and coordinating logistics for learning events. Creates online content, including certifications, assessments and evaluations. Develops and maintains the LMS matrix for developers, users, roles and permissions. Manages and uploads content to the LMS for electronic delivery. Assures effective and efficient operation of the LMS to meet business goals and end user needs and other duties as needed.
Acts as the lead technologist to support the vision and roadmap of the LMS. Takes a proactive role in supporting corporate training staff’s use of the LMS, virtual learning environments and other learning technologies. Assists enterprise learning managers to develop comprehensive reporting for our certifications.
This position requires technical IS skills as well as experience with technology-enabled training solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience with HTML, web-based meeting tools and content development tools such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Articulate Storyline and Captivate are beneficial. Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and project management skills including managing multiple projects, vendors and maintaining deadlines is needed for this position.
Must be able to pass certification of use for systems, where applicable (SABA has an online certification course)
Use of a support management tool to track incidents (customer requests or triage).
