    Responsibilities - External

    Technical Team Manager position to fulfill the role of the North America Audit Manager.   In this position, the following responsibilities apply:

     

    Management of a staff of 15 fielded auditors throughout North America in support of the FM Approvals Surveillance Audit program to ensure compliance of FM Approved products.

     

    Training and mentoring of staff and audit contractors to ensure compliance to FM Approvals requirements.  This includes employee review and contractor competency assessment.

     

    Support a continual improvement environment within Quality Assurance to develop solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Surveillance audit program.

     

    Work with management to develop operating plans, set key results areas, action plans and expectations of the team managed.

     

    Aid in the understanding, planning, budgeting and implementation process to meet objectives and resource limitations.

     

    Support daily activities and resolve issues to ensure the audit program remains effective and on schedule.

     

    Serve as a Quality expert to lend assistance and accomplish key objectives.

     

    Travel estimated at 15%

    Qualifications - External

    Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

     

    Ten (10) years or more in a Quality function or technical area with strong Quality experience.

     

    Solid computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Office and database applications.

     

    Senior level Quality and Auditing background  including experience within the related areas including ISO9000, Calibration, Audit Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, Statistical Analysis and Data Mining.

     

    Proficient verbal and written communication skills

     

    Ability to manage staff and  projects to completion with minimal supervision.

     

    Significant experience in a Quality Assurance related area or organization.

     

    Management experience of a staff of 5 or more years preferred
