    Independently performs general maintenance in an office park setting, demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot more complex building system problems. Performs various duties related to mechanical, electrical, & plumbing; these duties will include, inspections, building repairs, and calibrations not requiring a license.  Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of building automation, energy management and other control systems.  Ability to work with basic hand tools, power tools, air flow measurement tools and basic electrical tools such as multimeters, voltage testers and amp probes.  Performs basic carpentry, furniture moves, assist with snow removal and address any tenant services requests as needed.  Must be knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and able to obtain an OSHA 10 certification for general industry and works in a safe and responsible manner (having an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card is an advantage).   On an emergency basis, assists the Assistant Facility Manager to stabilize, secure and make repairs necessary to maintain or re-establish occupancy of one or more buildings. This position will report to the HVAC Supervisor and will require experience and training on HVAC systems or be enrolled in a curriculum to obtain this training.


    High school diploma or equivalent

    5-8 years of general maintenance experience. 3 years of mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience.

    Mechanical aptitude use of power tools, OSHA training on safety and compliance, related state license such as electrician, refrigeration, plumbing, helpful but not required.
